Description
Petey Piranha was some fan art done by request for a friend of mine. For those who aren't video game inclined, Petey Piranha is a big boss first featured in Super Mario Sunshine (but now appears in other Mario games).
I started by outlineing and base coloring my sketch in Illustrator, then I transported it to Photoshop for highlights and shading.
Like my Metroid v2 image, this image has a large white space as it was originally designed to work well as wallpaper.
PROGRAMS:
*Illustrator CS
*Photoshop CS
Remember what my friend Jingles, the Magic Dog, always says: "Petey Piranha and all Mario characters is under the copyright of Nintendo! RUFF!"

I really liked how you drew it, you really captured the pose. His cute dorky smile was the perfect touch. I haven't played Sunshine, it was.. too sunny for me. ^^; so I don't know if this is actually what he looked like in the game, or if his attitude is in any semblance of this image, but GAWD it's entertaining. Wonderful use of clean CLEAN lines, something I just CAN'T do. Thumbs UP!
